If you are reading this section, you probably want to know more about the person behind all these words.
To be honest, you can find out a lot from me by reading my works of fiction. The vast majority of my characters have various aspects of my real world personality injected into them:
- Marieya draws upon my experiences with loneliness and anxiety
- Blaze pulls from a desire to break free from the mould to be as chaotic as I wish
- Orianna is heavily inspired from my journey as a transgender woman
The main difference is that these portrayals are those aspects of my personality dialled up to eleven, so, who is behind the screen?
I am Rosalia. As mentioned above, I am transgender – and have been out since 2020. I live in the UK, for better and worse. And I am a writer.
That said, I never set out to be a writer. I was definitely somewhat of a written creative type growing up, especially because I never really had a desire to improve any style of drawn art.
I was always a daydreamer though, thinking of random ideas in my head.
